Q. Does taking your class allow me to bypass going to the DMV and just get a license through you?
A. Unfortunately, we do not issue motorcycle licenses. If you take this class, please be aware that it does not waive any requirements for DMV. No clarification needed. We are a private training company.
Q. Do I need some sort of license to take the beginner’s courses?
A. No, as the lessons take place in a parking lot, no previous license is required.
Q. What prerequisites do I need before attending my lesson?
A. The one thing no one can teach is balance. Students who have never ridden a bicycle or anything that requires balance may or may not get their sense of balance in the time allowed. We can’t separate those students and let them keep trying. Occasionally we do have to ask students to come back after they have practiced balancing. If a balance issue cannot be resolved, we unfortunately can not offer a refund.
Q. Do you supply the motorcycle/scooter and gear for the beginner’s lessons?
A. Yes, we provide the motorcycle/scooter, helmet and gloves.
Q. Do you supply the motorcycle and gear for the intermediate lesson?
A. No we cannot supply a motorcycle for the intermediate lesson. We can supply a helmet and gloves for these lessons, free of charge. Please request gear if needed.
Q: What types of vehicles to you train with?
A: We train with Honda Nighthawk 250cc’s and Honda 50cc scooters.
Q. Where do the lessons take place?
A. The lessons take place in San Francisco.
Q: What should I bring to the lesson?
A: You will need to bring the Liability contract and the $200 cash deposit, these are required to conduct a lesson.
- Helmet and gloves (please request in advance if you do not have them)
- Riding clothes for safety: jeans, jacket, boots or over the ankle closed toe shoes
- Water or something to drink
Q: How long is the lesson?
A: For beginners motorcycle classes, it’s 2 hours. For intro to scooters, it’s 1 1/2 hours. For Intermediate Lessons, 2-3 hours depending upon the route you choose.
Q: What is your rain policy?
A: We check the weather both the night before and morning of the lessons. If it is raining the day of your lesson, we will reschedule to the next available date free of charge. In light sprinkle, we still train.
Q. Is there a deposit for the motorcycle?
A. Yes, we do require a $200 cash deposit the day of your lesson. If the motorcycle is not dropped or crashed, this is refunded to you at the end of the lesson.
Q: I missed my appointment, what’s your rescheduling policy?
A: Yes, life can prednisone get crazy at times and at Bay Riders Group, we understand. If you contact us a minimum of 48 hours before your appointment, we can reschedule you with no fee. If you contact us after the 48 hours, we will have to charge a $65 missed appointment fee to reschedule the lesson. If you do not show up at all and do not call, the entire class fee is forfeited.
Q. What happens if I show up late?
A. If you are more than 10 minutes late, we will require a missed appointment fee to reschedule, which is $65.
Q. What if I forget my Liability Contract and/or Security Deposit on the day of my lesson?
A. Without both the Liability Contract and the Security Deposit, we CANNOT tadalafil overnight delivery canada let you ride. In the event this happens, a missed appointment fee will be required to reschedule your appointment, which is $65.
